I found it really hard to get over the astounding unrealistic premise. Not only that, if Ev had gone to Vegas for her 21st birthday, how come her best friend had somehow abandoned her along the way? And then this same friend, who's had a crush on the rock god, doesn't have a moment of jealousy that Ev has suddenly married him. It's just all supportive. Really? Because there could have been some interesting conflict between them. As I got further into the book, I had trouble getting a clear sense of the protagonist to understand what exactly beside her breasts made her so desirable. But eventually I got into it. The characters really came to life when everything went south. Thanks to Pan MacMillan and Netgalley for a copy in exchange for a fair and honest review.
