This book really stumped me. I had the toughest time time figuring out how to rate it. Okay, let me back up. First off, it's been a loooong time since I've been so anxious about wanting to get through a book to see if a couple was going to have an HEA. But then I got so ANGRY at Eliza. I thought she'd made the stupidest decision ever. Like take an Atavan and get some counselling for the flying, don't destroy your entire relationship not to mention totally gut Paul!!Then it turned around again and I was happy with the ending. But still mad. And it was really hard to work through that anger. But in the end, what I realized is that I've always said that storytelling is about making an emotional connection with the audience. So for me to feel so invested in these two, at the end of the day, I'd say Tiffanie did her job well.
