How I love me those bespectacled HR gals
MacLean's 9 Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake is one of my all-time beloved HRs. So I was looking forward to reading more from her. And when I realized that this story featured my most favourite of HR protagonists, the bespectacled overlooked female, I knew I had to read it.
At first, I wasn't sure. It was okay but I wasn't getting that giddy rush that I was looking for. But somewhere in the second third of the book, everything kicked into high gear. And my God, what a rush! Love love love! Cross and Pippa were a perfect match in brains, wit and chemistry.
I can't wait to read more by her and hope she delivers as wonderfully with her other books.
