Tellulah Darling writes YA & New Adult romantic comedy because her first kiss sucked and she's compensating.
Sassy girls. Swoony boys. What could go wrong?
This book should have totally worked for me. It had so many elements that I love - Italy, Italian men, the romance was sweet and it played out as expected. Which was fine. I liked that involved this oboeist on tour. There wasn't actually anything wrong with it. I bought the chemistry between Marco and Carly.
But see, the chemistry between me and this book, is where it fell apart. Because I just didn't caught up in the romance. The writing is solid, but it lacked the crucial "I need to be in love with these two and will die if they don't get together" vibe for me. Other readers may not have this problem.
