Triptych a totally consuming whydunnit
I really enjoyed this. It's more of a whydunnit than a whodunnit and that worked perfectly. It's a multiple POV story as the clock is ticking to find a brutal serial killer. We get into the heads of a cop, an ex-con who was convicted of the same crime years ago, a female Vice cop and a state investigator. Lots of baggage in the various interpersonal relationships with surprising twists. I'll happily read more by Slaughter.
