I quickly realized 2 things upon starting this book: a) It was book two in a series and b) I'd read book one and was irritated by all the same things.
The Infernals drove me nuts because of its wry British humorous tone. Which I love in books like Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and Good Omens but they have things like character development and plot. I'm picky like that.
