Great new procedural series
I'd actually forgotten what this book was about by the time I started reading it. But I really enjoyed it. It's a murder mystery featuring Detective Maeve Kerrigan, who is an extremely smart and likeable character. The story itself centres on two different but possibly related crimes and while I did figure out the killer, that didn't lessen my enjoyment of the investigation along the way.
As the first book in a series, I think it would appeal to readers who enjoy the work of Tana French. I'll definitely be continuing on with this character.
