Tellulah Darling

I spent most of this book thinking that I'd finally met the Mead series I didn't care about. The introduction and attention in the back half to Dorian made things much better. And is pretty much the only reason I'm willing to go on to book two. As a friend pointed out, he's Adrian. Which is a good thing. 

Funnily enough, it was always Kiyo that I kept hearing raves about. I don't get it. Can't see it. Don't feel it. Anyhow, yes, this book has all the Mead traits of interesting world, swoony male (well, one), kick ass girl - just maybe not put together in the fabutastic way that I've come to expect from her other series. Which is a testament to how well she has written so many other books.

Starting book two though.
