Tellulah Darling writes YA & New Adult romantic comedy because her first kiss sucked and she's compensating.
Sassy girls. Swoony boys. What could go wrong?
I'll be honest. I really had to tamp down on my Cinder/Cress love to be able to get into it. But I wanted to give it a shot, so I did. Then I found myself enjoying it through the middle bit. I liked Essie. And it really became it's own original story. However, the ending was a bit "hit all the predictable beats in order" for me. It wrapped up in a perfectly fine happily-ever-after way but without it leaving me the gooey happy puddle I want to be after an HEA. Interesting take on Snow White if you like fairy tale retellings.
